- Day 1 – Dehradun to Sankri
220 km drive in approx 10 hours.
Height : 6,400ft.
Hotel Stay.
Trekkers will be picked from Dehradun.The first day of the trek will start from Dehradun. You will reach Sankri from Dehradun in around 10 hours. The journey will go through the beautiful Mussoorie, we will go through Naugaon, Purola, Mori, and Netwar before finally reaching village Sankri. You will get to see the beauty of tall pine trees and beautiful flowers and birds along the way. After covering a sufficient distance we will stop for lunch at a local dhaba. We will also cross the Govind National Park checkpoint on the way. In the evening, we will reach our first stop – Sankri. After freshening up, get ready to explore the Sankri Village, its market, cultural cuisines and local inhabitants. Stay the night in the hotel.
- Day 2 – Sankri to Taluka
Sankri to Taluka
Distance – 12 km
Time – 1 hour
Height – 7,000 ft.
Taluka to Pauni Garaat.
Altitude8 – 200 ft.
Distance – 10km.
Time – 6 hours approx.
Riverside camping in Govind National Park forestsOn the second day, our journey moved forward to Taluka early in the morning passing through thick forests and flowing streams. After reaching Taluka, get some refreshments and continue the trek further through more villages. The route is covered through walking by the Tons river entering the forest and finally reaching a bridge. After crossing the stream, the trail leads to a wooden bridge sloping down to the river. Walk beside the path to the river and click some amazing pictures while you are there. After walking quite a distance, we will stop for lunch by the Supin tributary. Moving further we will reach Pauni Garaat, lush fields on the banks of Supin. Set up camp here and stay the night.
- Day 3 – Pauni Garaat to Kalkattiyadhaar
Height – 9,800ft.
Distance – 8 km.
Time – 6 hour.
Stay in campOn day 3, we will start early in the morning to further trail to Kalkattiyadhaar which is at a distance of 7 km from Pauni Garaat and takes 6 hours to reach. The route will be through harvest lands, cattle grazing, and slant-roofed huts and just between the forests of cashew nuts and walnuts lies the village Oslo. The village Oslo is said to be a preacher of Duryodhana of Mahabharata. The village has a 2000 year old Temple and few inhabitants. Get some rest and then we move further, catching views of Dhauladhar Range and trails to Borasu Pass and Baspa Valley. Then further down reaching a lush green field comes Kalkattiyadhaar. Camps will be setup here and stay the night.
- Day 4 – Kalkattiyadhar to Har Ki Doon, then back to Kalkattiyadhar
Height – 11,800ft.
Distance – 10 km.
Time – 9 hour.Start a little early today and enjoy the mesmerizing views of the sunrise. Continue the trail through glacier basin of moraines and alpine meadows and pine tree forest. Moving up further, you can catch a glimpse of frozen waterfalls. The valley is filled with immense beauty – the huge peaks of Swargarohini, Hata Peak, Black Peak, lush meadows, frozen streams, coniferous forests, glacier moraines all these leaving you transfixed with its eternal beauty.
After having all these unforgettable memories and capturing the magical moments, we return back to the campsite of Kalkattiyadhar. - Day 5 – Kalkattiyadhar to Pauni Garaat
Height – 8,200ft.
Distance – 8 km.
Time – 5 hour.
Riverside camping in Govind National Park forests. From today we will begin our return journey. We will go through the Oslo Village to Pauni Garaat. You can again explore the village and enjoy the beautiful sights around the area. Following the same route back reach the campsite of Pauni Garaat and enjoy the beautiful night under the stars there. - Day 6 – Pauni Garaat to Sankri
Height – 6,400ft.
Time – 5 hour.
Distance – 10 km.
Drive from Taluka to Sankri
Distance – 12 km.
Time – 1 hour.
Stay in hotel.Start early in the morning and begin trekking down by the same route reaching to Taluka in around 5 hours and then stopping at the same places during the way. The car will be waiting at the end of the trail to drive you back to the hotel. Stay equally careful while moving down and enjoy your evening in Sankri on day 6.
- Day 7 – Sankri to Dehradun
Distance – 220 km drive, approx 10 hours.
Time – 10 hour.
You will be dropped at Dehradun station or airport as per your requirements.The trek comes to an end with the drive back to Sankri from Dehradun. It is a 10 hour drive. Enjoy the route and have breakfast and lunch on the way. Get refreshed by views of natural marvels of Uttrakhand. You will be dropped at Dehradun railway station or airport as per your requirements.

The legend of Har ki Dun
Har ki Dun or Valley of Gods got its name when the Pandavas took this route of Har Ki Dun to the peak of Mt. Swargarohini to reach the gates of heaven to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva, thus the route is considered sacred by the locals of the region.
The Journey The trek takes 7 days to complete. It will start from Sankri, the route is filled with huge Garhwal Himalayas covered with snow, then head to Taluka, through the beautiful meadows of wild orchids and then reach the campsite in Osla which is 10-12 km from Taluka, Visit the famous Duryodhana Temple.
